Foxwood Maclean in the Rye Community

In our second year of trading, not only have we firmly established ourselves as agents specialising in period properties within central Rye but we have also secured sales of some very valuable commercial freeholds in the town and surrounding area, attracting owner occupiers, investors, second home buyers and multiple landlords.

We have had huge support locally from vendors and landlords looking for an honest and professional approach where our experience and customer service counts more than anything.

We like to ‘put something back into the system’ whenever possible and to repay the support shown to us we chose to sponsor a wide spectrum of events which matter to a lot of people. We took part in the Northiam Bonfire Society fund raising event, sponsoring the race night, and Staplecross Bonfire Society will also benefit from our sponsorship later this month at their firework display in the village.

April saw the Nothiam Showtimer’s production of Food Glorious Food, with brilliant performances from a very talented cast where we were pleased to sponsor the show with boards and advertising.

St Michael’s hospice are always ‘on our radar’ and are so deserving of any support including our fee donation for any property sold for a connected party. Peasmarsh Primary school Summer fair gave us the opportunity to place advertising boards along main roads for them. We did the same for Rye Primary school and both events were a great success.

Lamb House in Rye was the venue for Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, courtesy of The Lamb Players in August where we were pleased to take advertising space within the programme, a special event and again a huge success. The Rye International Jazz and Blues festival was the next hugely successful event drawing crowds from across the globe who flocked to Rye to see some fantastically talented musicians. We were delighted to have been asked to sponsor Herbie Flowers again this year, a headline act, a packed house and a breath-taking performance!

Quite a busy year so far but we are always open to suggestions of how we can help to promote various events and causes. Budgeting for next year will start shortly and no doubt there will be sum put aside for these events. If you think we can help your organisation we would be very pleased to hear from you, we have to work on a ‘first come first served basis’ so don’t delay, get in touch today!!
